over heard a couple of republicans doing the "was'nt the liberal media mean to sara palin" routine, "Charlie Gibson tried to make her look bad but our girl hung tough!"

This, obviously pissed me off at several levels, the greatest of which was the assumption that Charlie Gibson possessed the arguementitive acumen to give any one a hard time. I felt like screaming "Charlie Gibson could not give a turnip a tough time" but being as Gibson had not risen through the ranks of the anointed in time to interview Reagan, there is no direct proof.

I need not remind you that the only media team to do such a shitty job running a presidential debate, that they were booed by the studio audience on live television, were Charlie Gibson and George Stephanopolos.
