I hope you have had the Merriest of Christmases!
I am sure that the parade of Gods children surveyed in your family and friends at this feast of the Prince of Peace, contained some decidedly unpeacefull folks, ie. Fundamentalists, better yet pre-millenialist fundamentalists!
Have you been searching for an explaination of how some of these folks express their "christian love" by saying that you will spend eternity in the "lake of fire" for having voted for Obama.
The blessed talents of Joe Bageant, provide the best explaineroo I have seen yet, along with some recompense to ye liberal Catholics in the audience, a tie-in to Thomas Merton.
Its a bit long, but i figger yinz guys to be of the intellectual muster fer this stuff!
PS thanks to Matt i have the Bageant interview on CD and will forward it to Joe for inclusion on his Podcast list (a plot for some permenance to clairadio, no doubt!)

Glad the CDs worked out, as I am now not employed by the Renda empire, I no longer have access to anything there.
