Why the 60 Senate is so important

Joe Lieberman has endorsed McCain, after Obama stood by him in the Connecticut primary.

Joe Lieberman has betrayed the Democratic party.

Joe Lieberman is such a slut for the McCain campaign, that he has undermined the State Department and spoken with foreign leaders in a manner opposed to stated United States policy.

We need 60 in the senate so Joe can be sent to be the head of the Independent caucus.

Bernie Sanders, should be given Democrat credentials (and Joes committie assignments), so that Joe can be by himself.

As to point 3.

Read the last boldface paragraph of this

Had a REAL Democrat done this, they would have been labled "traitor", guilty of interfering with US foreign policy.

WHAT was Al Gore smoking in 2000?

ADDED BONUS

Poll numbers in Georgia are lookin bad for Saxby Chambliss, that lying sack of shit who savaged Max Cleland. The only thing sweeter than his seat being number 60, is when Liebermans becomes 61.

Baracjk may have supported him in the primary, but in the general election he endorsed Ned Lamont, as did Hillary Clinton and John Edwards and a slew of others. And lets not kid ourselves, the primary in Connecticut was not a referendum on Lieberman by the voter of Connecticut, it was a referendum on him by the left of his own party, as over 70% of the campaign contributions in that race for both sides came from outside the state. You had the right courting Lieberman and the left courting Lamont, in a psuedo pissing contest. The largest bock of voters in Conn however identify themselves as independents, and they favored Lieberman overwhelmingly, which is why he is still their Senator. You may think that Lieberman turned his back on the Democratic Party, I am sure he thinks they turned their backs on him.
