Just Deserts

As Phil ( I got a multi million dollar job with Banc Suisse so F$ck you elitist democrats) Gram said: yinz guys around Pittsburgh are Whiners.

You don’t need WPTT anymore 'cause you have the phallic font of Republican bullshit KdicKA to give you the company line.

First we had that Dumbass they imported from the Carolinas to play the part of Honsbergers missing stomach, going on CNN to defend Michael Savages "90% of Autism is an act" comment as being "taken out of context", now we have the keepers of the "50,000 watt blowtorch" giving platform to John McCains own predictable brand of self immolation.

Yea, you heard right; self immolation, He wants you to have a Vietnam image; McCain as POW in his lonely cell, ( a terrible thing to happen to anyone, John used to think it was a terrible thing to happen at Guantanamo, not no more) McCain has the 'POW line' as a bumper sticker, he keeps a 6 inch stack of them in his back pocket and every time the questions get tough, he whips one out and slaps it on. The origin of this line was the Jay Lenno Show, where john at least had a germane place to stick it (it is after all, roughly defined as a housing question). Hey john, how many houses do you have? "Well with all due respect Jay, for 5 1/2 years, I didn’t have a house...", circumlocutious, but he got to house. Now the line is flopping out as a nonsequitor so often, and so unpredictably that these "POW line" bumper stickers are pileing up on Johns body to such a great extent that he would be considered a fire hazard in many municipalities. He might go poof like that infamous Buddhist monk who doused himself in gasoline then burned himself alive as protest to the savagery of the war, there’s yer Vietnam image, Bud.

If you don’t believe me, check this out http://www.crooksandliars.com/2008/08/29/pownd-you-lose/

this contains a link to a KDicKA interview with McCain in which he slaps on the sticker "because Obama won’t do town hall meetings'. Good thing Obama wears a flag pin now or we would get another sticker. Not that I wish to torture anyone with exposure to this crap, but listen to the disconnect of McCain, its like he has his suit jacket covered in post-it notes of one liners, just rip one off and read it, get called on the incongruity thereof ? "Well with all due respect xxx, for 5 1/2 years, I didn't have a house...".

Some credit goes to John Shumway for at least bringing up the plight of the middle class, which McCain bats down with "were have you been? At my town hall meetings I have said things about the plight of the middle class.

Say some more things John, it gets us off to know you feel our pain.

This only a test

Joe Bageant wrote me this morning to say that the outage of his website was of innocent origin, a switch in server providers. But this was the first time that one of my bookmarks came up dead (although temporarily) it scared me about the subject of Net Neutrality.

Would the "Your desired site is closed, try these alternatives" message i saw, be the same I would see if access to sites were controlled by corporate or ideological affiliations?

This is all my roundabout "space cadet" way of saying Net neutrality should be discussed. But first a "state of the website.

If you look back thru the archieves have a number of fairly well written messages on a variety of topics. but if you look at Joes website: http://www.joebageant.com/ you will see that the input of the writers is put right up front and of high quality. That sites such as crooks and liars http://www.crooksandliars.com/ and this modern world http://www.thismodernworld.com/ are sustained by contributers and guest writers.

That is what i want for the future of teutonicjihad. More participation from YOU, dont be shy, this is all written now with plenty of time to research and think things out, so dont be shy.

up next; resources for the post WPTT era

clue #1 I am listening to WCPT Chicago which has a great liberal line up, including Thom Hartman, Google it today!

The dawn of internet censorship?

From about 11:00PM to 11:00AM I was having trouble getting Joe Bageants web site:
http://www.joebageant.com/ did anyone else have this problem. It came back on this morning, but reminded me how fragile the "alternatives" can be.
